Hand spanking is one of the oldest forms of punishment around with regards

to discipline in homes up until the mid 1980's.

Many people will remember the sting of that bare bottom spanking, but

it was more than just that.  The actual act of having your pants lowered by a

family member was probably more humiliating than the spanking itself.

You were made to pay for your errors and wayward behaviour.  You weren't let off with

an easy ride.   You knew before it started that you would not be getting up until

your bottom burned like fire and the deepest darkest red colour imaginable.

It would not have made any difference to beg or plead, it fell on deaf ears.
