Hand spanking is one of the oldest forms of punishment and probably

the most humiliating around with regards to discipline in the home up until the early 1980's.

It is also considered by most to be the most humiliating experience having your pants

lowered and being placed over a ladies knee.

Many people will remember the sting of that bare bottom spanking, but

it was more than just that.  The actual act of having your pants lowered by a

family member was probably more humiliating than the spanking itself.

You were made to pay for your errors and wayward behaviour.  You weren't let off with

an easy ride.   You knew before it started that you would not be getting up until

your bottom burned like fire and looked the deepest darkest red colour imaginable.

It would have made no difference to beg or plead, it fell on deaf ears.
